Andy is an amazingly talented real estate agent who has 25+ years of experience in the Northern Virginia and DC market. He is extremely responsive and has keen listening skills which help him truly capture the essence of what his clients want in a property search. He is also unbiased in his approach, presents the facts, and lets his clients make their decision without any pressure. Finally, his IT savvy is second to none...customizing websites with listings specific to his clients needs, maximizing eSign software, and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. As a military family, we move often and we can't imagine working with a more qualified and caring agent!
Andy was the best. I would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a realtor. He will guide you through every step of the way, making it easy for you to understand, answering all of your questions.
Andy is one of the most knowledgeable RE agent with whom I have dealt for the last 30 years. He knows the overall (regional) and local RE markets e.g. zip code/area desirables, pricing variables, trends, dos-and-donts as buyers/sellers etc.
Andy is the best of best dealing with buying and selling any property he has an excellent knowledge of town and honest opinion for everyone. He has always communicate any requests and respond. He is cellphone always open for you. More than 5 stars
None of us in the family live in the vicinity of my mother's retirement community. Prep and sale of a property from a distance can be quite an ordeal. Andy consistently went above and beyond to help us transition my mother from her prior residence. This included more than just the typical events required to sell a property, but also arranging and personally overseeing renovations, deliveries, repairs, movers, donation pick-ups etc.
I honestly can say, I'm not sure how we would have been able to handle the various responsibilities to prep the home for sale if it weren't for Andy's involvement. Last but not least, during the entire process he was honest, dependable, affable and very accessible.
Andy did a great job with the sale of my late sister's house. From listing date to sale was quick and painless. I live out of state and Andy was able to recommend a great local mover for the packing and moving of the household goods and furniture and also took care of getting a couple of required repairs done and we actually settled a week early at a very busy time of year! I can't say enough good things about Andy and will recommend him to friends I have in the local area.
Andy was great! He was extremely helpful, but not pushy. He was able to answer every question I had regarding our purchase and settlement, plus he made me aware of things that I might not have thought about. It was a pleasure to work with him!
I was a first time home buyer going through this process (literally I knew nothing). Every step of the way, Andy had brought me through all of the necessary procedures, documents, and time constraints prior to each of the deadlines occurring. I was always prepared for each step with Andy guiding me through buying a place. I seriously could not have asked for a more helpful, accommodating, friendly, genuine, and trustworthy realtor.
As this being my first time, I knew very little. I like to ask (as I say it) "The 5 Why's." Every time something came up, or I had a question I would ask Why, five times. And Andy never faulted, and as a matter of fact, most of the time Andy explained in so much detail, that I now know more about this process then I ever imagined I could :),
which highlights his wealth of knowledge (soooo much paperwork, and he had it under control...amazing). My parents are previous military and they agreed that he is extremely intelligent and reliable.....that says something coming from 2 Retired Military Officers.
To top it off, this speaks directly to his trustworthiness; his kindness is the main characteristic that I appreciated the most. I had issues come up after closing, and Andy not only helped me resolve them, he personally set them right.... simply just because, not because he was contractually obligated, nor was he liable for what happened...he just helped me, because that's Andy.
Please, if you can, get Andy as your realtor.
He will be mine from this point forward (two thumbs up)!
PS....we geeked out about Star Wars a lot haha
Everything Andy does, he does for your satisfaction and needs. First he listens carefully for what you want and keeps tweaking based on your reactions to the houses he shows you. He doesn't become an advocate for any house but remains your advocate always. His experience (he's seen everything) informs his negotiating strategy which put you in the best possible position. I could not have wished for a better person to find a house for us.
When my family moved to Northern Virginia from New York, we found an area that we liked very much, but found it quite difficult to find what we wanted. It was a seller's market and we kept getting outbid on the homes that we loved. Along came Andy. He was sharp, and understood the market and he spent a lot of time with us, to find exactly what we wanted. I would say it took several weeks before we ultimately found what we were looking for. Andy accessed that we were not interested in a "fixer upper", and that we wanted "move-in ready". Since that didn't exist at our price point, he found us a development that was under construction, and told us the best way to get everything that we wanted was to build our dream home. And we did! 17 years later we are still in our dream home, raised our family and are thrilled with this decision. Andy was the only realtor, who had the patience, and the insight on what we wanted. The best words to describe him are Thoughtful, Innovative, Caring, and Really Nice! We loved him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell their home in the Northern Virginia area!
I have worked with Andy on several buy and sell transactions over the past 20 years and just worked with him again recently. He was a consummate professional when I first met him years ago and somehow keeps getting better.
I appreciate his mastery of the technicalities of the process of transacting real estate coupled with his thorough understanding of the market and its context and genuine desire to find just the right fit for his clients all while making it as low stress as possible.
My elderly parents wanted to relocate to the West Coast, but they needed to sell their condo in Leesburg in order to make the move. My Dad had met Andy previously and already knew he'd like Andy to represent them as a seller's agent. The condo sold quickly, and everything went so smoothly--all thanks to Andy. I am so grateful to him for helping to make this big project so much more manageable for them, and also or all the little extras he did for them that he didn't have to do, but did anyway. Two thumbs up for this broker, highly recommended.
Mr Andrew Norton is an exceptional real-estate agent; during the time period it took to sell our Lansdowne Woods condo he went above and beyond representing us. We were never "kept in the dark," he always let us know what was happening and the number of walk throughs. More importantly, had we followed his upgrade advice earlier, the unit would have sold much faster. He knows what buyers and sellers are looking for in real estate. We would not hesitate to ask him to represent us again in the future.
Andy was extremely responsive to each of our questions, either providing the answer himself or immediately contacting the appropriate person(s) to obtain the answers. He was extremely knowledgeable of market conditions, providing sound counsel to formulate an offer which was accepted by the seller. He stayed on top of the entire process during the loan and closing process, helping us understand and work through all of the details involved in getting to a successful closing. I would highly recommend and trust Andy in future transactions. He was a delight and pleasure to work with!
Andy Norton is the consummate professional. His ability to understand not only our needs for a house but also our needs as a family allowed him to find the right house that worked for us. He has been remarkable in every aspect our home search in Northern Virginia. Provided insight on the rapidly changing DC real estate market. He gave us family-specific insight on the local area while explaining the peculiarities of purchasing and owning a home in the DC area. He also kept us informed of the latest major business moves and market trends that affected our decision.
Andy was willing to listen carefully to the ebb and flow of our decision-making process throughout our search time frame. He took extra time to fully understand our requirements for our large family and was always patient with the constant number of questions not only from us but also from our children. On several occasions, we changed our search area and house criteria and he was always there to field our questions and concerns. He took the time to evaluate selections we located online and gave us guidance whether the houses we saw would work for us. His comments were thoughtful and appropriate to our needs. He allowed us the freedom to make our own observations and took the time to point out things that we missed. He was always providing continuing inspiration for moving forward in our search especially after losing several contracts. He also worked extremely well with our lender insuring we were always well positioned when it was time to make an offer.
He always made us feel as if we were his only client, and would answer our texts at times well beyond the normal work day. As an added bonus, he helped us find a solid realtor to sell our current house out of state. We couldn’t have been happier with Andy’s service and would highly recommend him to anyone that is interested in purchasing a home in the DC area.
Andy Norton was incredible in helping us get ready to sell our home. We were overwhelmed to begin ( before contacting any realtor)! We called him based on a friend's recommendation and we had a long conversation covering many topics, he was patient, informative and just very easy to talk to. He asked questions which helped us in our thinking regarding moving, relocation and selling.
Overall we had a very friendly discussion which made us feel calmer and very clear that we wanted to work with him.
Andy gave us references for various jobs that need to be completed and most importantly he was accessible and always responded quickly to questions and concerns. He would drop by to see how things were going with getting the house ready, but was not pushy. He was excellent in explaining market issues and the whole process of selling and steps that needed to be taken. We highly recommend
Andy Norton to anyone buying or selling!
My wife and I were first time home-buyers and are extremely happy we were able to work with Andy. Not only was he able to find the perfect home for us, he additionally provided an extremely educational experience that laid a strong foundation in our understanding of residential real estate purchasing.
Andrew, you are amazing! So knowledgeable, patient and always in the look out for your clients best interests.
Thank you for helping us sell and buy our home! Have no doubt that you will be my first option if we move/sell again.
When we decided to move to assisted living, we had to tackle selling our town home in Reston where we raised kids and resided for 45 years.
We hired Andrew Norton based on his excellent reputation and the recommendations of two friends who had each sold houses through him. Both women were pleased with the price and the process of selling with Andrew as the realtor.
Andrew's skills and market knowledge allowed us to settle on the sale of our townhome at top market value the week following the settlement to buy our new apartment.
Andrew arranged the staging of the town house and hired excellent people to help us with decluttering. He made the house viewings as gentle as possible on us as we are not very mobile. He referred us to Maria at Reston Concierge to help us with moving and transfering cable-internet etc. We were able to sign the settlement for the sale without leaving our new apartment . He has even twice personally delivered some of the mail which wasn't properly forwarded thru the post office.
Choosing Andy as our realtor was financially wise and stress lowering decision. Andrew Norton is an exceedingly kind, knowledgeable, and capable realtor.
Andy is a real professional. Always available and really represented us well in every stage of buying our property. He could not have been more helpful in selecting a home inspector and closing agent. We would highly recommend him for your real estate needs
We were recommended by a friend that had used Andy the previous year so we gave him a call. We reached out to him and met within a few hours. We have owned a few homes and knew exactly what our "must haves" were and what we were flexible on. He was very interested in finding us the best home to fit those needs and asked great questions. He immediately sent us some listings that evening to begin the process. The spring inventory was quickly growing. He saved us from wasting a lot of time by looking at homes that did not match our tastes and preferences. He listened to what we wanted and even previewed some homes ahead to rule some out for us. After serious inquiries on a few homes we found one that was perfect for us and he began negotiating. We settled 6 weeks later. He had great recommendations and attention to detail in the process. Andy also communicated with the lender through the whole process to ensure all details would run smoothly through settlement. Andy also kept a calm demeanor and a sense of humor which helps in a stressful process to make it more enjoyable.
Andy is a wonderful, professional and experienced agent. I doubt I will ever meet anyone like him again. He helped us buy our first home and we literally got everything we wanted thanks to Andy. He'd send us home listings before they went on the market so we could have the first look. He even contacted owners in a specific community to ask if they'd sell because we liked that community. In short, he went above and beyond for us. He was incredibly patient and made us feel as if we were the most important people on earth. We are so pleased with our home and feel really lucky we had Andy on our side. The only downside now is that we no longer have an excuse to call or email Andy. We will miss working with him very much.
As a first time home buyer, Andy guided me through the process seamlessly. He worked with me diligently to help me find a home that fit all my needs in a very competitive market. Without him in my corner, I am certain I would still be trying to navigate the daunting home buying market of NOVA. I will absolutely recommend him to anyone I know looking buy a home in the area.
Thank you, Andrew. As a first time homebuyer, navigating this crazy market with multiple offers on properties is nerve-wracking. I appreciated your calm demeanor, and your analytical approach.
Our son wanted to purchase a townhouse in NoVa. Being a realtor myself, I knew the importance of having a buyer agent. Andy came recommended by friends who had lived in NoVa. I gave Andy's name and contact info to my son and thus began the best representation we could have ever wished. Andy listened to my son's "wish list", was readily available to show a listing if it met criteria, explained every step, negotiated masterfully, put us in contact with professionals for the repair work, and availed himself to any concerns up to and through the closing. Andy's knowledge of the area and abject concern for his client is profound. In every aspect of the
transaction, we can describe his attentiveness as superb.
Thank you, Sandra. Being a Realtor yourself, I was honored you chose me as the buyer agent to work with your family.
Andrew was absolutely fantastic! He was a true professional - I followed every bit of advice he gave me - all clear, sensible and right to the point. I had my first open house on Sunday, offer on Tuesday and Thursday we sealed the deal. Less than week listed to sold!
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I gave you advice, but you worked with me to stage your home, and get ready for the professional photographer. These days, staging and professional photographs are so important.
This was a divorce case. He went to the courthouse and obtained a copy of my divorce papers (which he kept referring to), which was none of his business. As he was hired to sell the house only. In my opinion, I would not recommend this agent. He priced my house high only to get the listing, at the date of signing, we had lost approximately $115,000.
Actually, I thank you for your review. Your review illustrates the pain and anger of a divorce and the sale of the marital home. As the reader can see by the review two down the page, this reviewer is the ex-wife; the reviewer two down the page is the ex-husband. The ex-husband thought I was "a consummate professional, and guided everything flawlessly with extreme competence and expertise." As is so often the case with divorces, each spouse is at odds with the other, and each ex- sees things very differently.
Andy is a very seasoned real estate professional. If you are looking to buy or sell a home in the DC Metro area I would highly recommend working with Andy. I like his depth of knowledge in the DC metro area housing market, as well as his breadth of knowledge around the "macro"-level factors be it politics, socio-economy, or technologies. For me and my wife, he is very pleasant to work with and to have a conversation around properties or anything for that matter. Andy will offer you his perspectives and strategies around pricing, negotiations, etc. and then follow through to execute. Those two qualities are what we most like about working with Andy.
Hmm, I should be thanking you also. You were the first IT person who taught me many years ago to view properties as "data points". In today's complex world, MBAs, people in information technology, financial professionals, often put homes into a larger quantitative context.
This was a very difficult house to sell. It was a divorce situation with an abusive ex wife involved who was constantly sabotaging potential sales. Andy was very steadfast and saw it through to the end. During the entire process he was a consummate professional and guided everything flawlessly with his extreme competence and expertise.
Andy was my agent when I bought my house in 2002. I didn't hesitate for a moment to ask him to be my agent for selling the house. He faciliated the selling process in numerous ways, helping deal with everything from surveyors to termite repairs. And he helped me get a good price!
I'm really glad your move went so well, and I have enjoyed the Facebook photos and comments about your new home and "new life".
We have re-located to the Washington DC area and/or bought and sold a few homes in the DC area. Each time we start our journey, one of the first questions that always comes to the top - Let's get ahold of Andy!
Over our travels, we have bought and sold more than 15 homes and have had our share of good, and less than good agents. Andy has always been the professional, knowledgeable, and a keen negotiator we seek in real estate professionals and is one of the best agents we have encountered.
For our real estate needs, without hesitation, we always start by contacting Andy, as he always gets us started in the right direction, support our negotiations, and manage a clean closure, every time.
It is humbling when a client returns for a second transaction, but I cannot put into words what it means that you expressed your confidence in me again, and again, and again!
Andy is the best! He is on top of everything on the market, thoughtful about which homes to visit, and strategic in negotiations. Andy helped us find our first home several years ago, and expertly guided us to a terrific house when the market was at its craziest. When it was time to look for a bigger place for our expanded family, Andy once again jumped on the search like he was looking for his own home! His advice is always spot-on.
I never really thought about it this way, but yes, the standard for a Realtor really must be to search for a home for the client like the Realtor is looking for their own home.
We really can't say enough about Andy! He's extremely knowledgeable about the entire home buying process. He pushes you to think about your purchase in every way. We were looking for a new home in an extremely competitive market. Within 2 hours of the listing he had us in the home to see it, within 2 days we had a ratified contract. He also understands the process very well, and keeps us on track with what we need to do next for our loan, inspections, etc... He understands all the many factors that go into making an offer on a property, and pushes to get you the best deal. Very responsive to emails and phone calls, and honest about everything. Which is important. Contact Andy when you want to purchase or sell a home...you will not be disappointed!
Thank you. It important to me that buyers think about the purchase in every way. Instead of being pushed to buy, a Realtor should push the client to think about your purchase in every way! (You are analytical however, and were thinking things through very well before we were introduced!)
I will have to wholeheartedly agree with all of the 5-star reviews written before mine, Andy Norton is probably one of the best, if not the best, in his field. I bought and sold my very first property with him, and as a newbie, it was a pretty scary situation, but Andy made is SO easy, I cannot ever remember feeling stressed or worried about the processes of buying and selling. He truly went way above and beyond the call of duty, and even helped me find reputable and trustworthy contractors with fair prices to replace the entire carpeting in my first condo purchase. A few years later, my husband and I wanted to buy a house in Alexandria, and there was no doubt in my mind who I was going to contact, and called Andy right away. There are many great qualities that make Andy Norton such a fantastic real estate agent, but one of the qualities I truly appreciate the most is the fact that he listens when you need him to and that he will never try to pressure you into a decision for his own sake. Not only is Andy one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet, but he is 100% fair and square and will be honest with you 100% of the time. He also has been doing this for a very, very long time, and he knows the area better than most, which is a definite plus. All I can say is that I could not recommend Andy enough, and if you are looking to either buy or sell, Andy is your best choice.
Andrew is very responsive and in tune with my current situation. Have not yet been involved with transaction so as not to rate negotiation skills. Andrew has been helpful with numerous options and very good at understanding the market locally and internationally.
The two qualities that really stood out to us in using Andy Norton as our real estate agent were his knowledge of his field and his patience. Andy has been in real estate for several years and it shows. Andy is on top of what is going on nationwide as well as at the micro level in the DC/MD/VA area. He is also continuously searching out opportunities to learn more.
Andy's patience level is also extremely high. We lost count after viewing 25 properties with him. At each place he allowed us to take the lead and our time with each house. He expressed to us that he wanted us to be happy with our purchase as he knew we were looking for a house to raise our family and his actions backed these words up. His responsiveness is also a big plus. Whether it was via email, text or over the phone he was available. If he couldn't answer your question or call at that moment he would generally text why and when he could get back to you. This was really above and beyond.
We closed recently and we have been extremely happy with Andy as our real estate agent. Both my husband and I would not hesitate to recommend Andy Norton to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
Thank you for your review, and your kind words about my patience level being extremely high. It is hard to find just the right house these days. Learning the market takes time, the inventory of homes is low, and prices are trending higher. That's why the timetable is never mine, and always the buyer's.
Andy Norton was such a pleasure to work with; not only is Andy one of the most experienced real estate professionals I have had the opportunity to work with, he is one of the most lovely people I have worked with. He is relaxed but efficient, conversational without being too informal. I was most impressed with three things about my experience. First, he demonstrated the ability to give an honest assessment of the market conditions and provided various scenarios (i.e. this is how much it will cost to make improvements vs. selling as is). Second, he is a keen listener and really gave careful consideration of the fact that I was a long-distance seller who didn't have the time to put in to staging the unit, etc. Third, Andy is super responsive; often, I would receive a response to my emails or calls within five minutes. He provided complete analytics of comparison units and gave an in-depth assessment of the markets current and likely future patterns. I strongly and without hesitation recommend Andy Norton.
Wow, I'm blushing, thank you! I had not given it much thought, but with 30+ years of experience, much of real estate becomes second nature. And I think that is true of most things in life. As the years go by, one can be conversational without being too informal.
Andy is the most professional and effective realtor I have worked with in my experience purchasing 8 different properties. Andy really got to know us and our requirements, to the degree that when the right house was listed, he immediately arranged for us to see it that very same day and submitted our official offer just hours later. The sellers ended up receiving multiple offers the next day, however, thanks to Andy’s planning and quick actions our offer had already been accepted. Prior to closing, an issue between the VA appraisal and agreed upon sales price arose, however, Andy was able to successfully negotiate on our behalf to close the deal.
Based on Andy’s overall professionalism and expertise throughout this deal, Andy has my highest recommendation as a realtor. Also, over multiple coffees and discussions I was able to get to know Andy on a more personal level, and I truly came to value his honesty and advice. Four years after this deal we remain in touch and I look forward to working with Andy again in the future.
Thank you. It was great working with you both. I am sure you remember the seller needed to "pray about your offer." We knew right away things would be a nail biter!
2.5 years later. Using Andy again. In peson now, he's again working diligently and honestly for us. His knowledge of the industry is shared with us and of great value.
We were living in Paraguay, S.A., moving to the DC area and decided to buy a small commuter home rather than rent. Andy was recommended by someone else within a professional group to which he belongs. Andy shared his vast knowledge to help us better understand the changing market conditions in various neighborhoods at the time of our move. He provided the essential guidance, advice, and negotiating skills which were essential to our finding and eventually purchasing a home ideal for our needs and budget. FIRST RATE honest person who is *highly effective* dealing with the complexities of finding a home in the DC area and doing what is needed to move along and then close the deal--- in our best interests. I do not hesitate to recommend Andy Norton. Hope you have as good an experience as we did with his shepherding us through the process.
Thank you for your comments. That conference call with the seller's agent was one for the books. :)
Andy is very experienced agent. He helped my buy my first home and encouraged me to move to McLean, VA when I was looking for my second home. It was one of the best decisions of my life. The closing was very difficult for the sellers and he made sure to keep it on track with my best interest at heart. If you want someone that is honest call Andy.
Thank you, Patricia. I remember how very difficult that closing was for the sellers. Your house is a beauty, really unique, and I know the seller had a hard time saying goodbye to the house. I knew you'd be there forever :)
We are from out of state and just completed the purchase of a condo in Arlington, Virginia. As our realtor, Andy Norton was invaluable in his knowledge of the local real estate market, realistic in terms of market value, and clear in his explanation of the purchase process in Virginia. He also suggested remodeling guidelines to reasonably update the condo for resale appeal.
Andy listened carefully to our needs, researched our area of interest, and focused on units that met our criteria. He has a pleasant style, a tireless work ethic, and excellent communication skills. Andy understood our interest in involving our adult daughter in the purchase process and provided explanations for her understanding as well. We strongly recommend him for local and out of town clients and will definitely use him again.
Thank you for your kind review. Helping people moving to the DC metro area from out-of-state is one of the most satisfying parts of my work. (I am sure your daughter will remember being on the roof with the home inspector during the snow storm!)
I have worked with Andy for nearly 20 years on multiple selling and buying transactions. Andy is a consummate real estate agent in terms of his knowledge, professionalism, and depth of experience in real estate in general and the DC, VA, MD markets in particular.
I first met Andy while trying to investigate real estate in the DC area from far away in Denver CO. Andy was an innovator in using email and the web to make the long-distance process workable, He continues to use the latest tools and technologies to improve the buying and selling experience for his clients.
I wholeheartedly recommend Andy to anyone about their real estate needs, issues, or questions. You will not be disappointed.
Thank you for taking the time to write. Wow - 20 years! I know we're both getting older, but I had forgotten about your inquiry from Denver.:)
Andy's experience shows. He made the exercise go quite smoothly. He had all the necessary contacts and also helped in final steps to make the house ready for sale. You cannot go wrong with him. Dependable, ethical, energetic and earns his commission.
It is always rewarding to help adult children and aging parents in these difficult transitions. It was my privilege to help make the house ready for sale.
I retained Andy to list an investment property I owned in Reston. It was a complex transaction requiring strict confidentiality and multiple owners. Andy juggled the owners, tenants, buyers, agents and contractors. Closing was on time, at a price fair to everyone. Great job!
It is interesting, in a city like Washington, DC where there is no shortage of confidentiality, the secrecy surrounding your transaction was a first for me. I really appreciate your confidence.
Andy has been a real pleasure to work with. He understood the market and presented us with several options for selling our house that included renting till the right buyer came along. We decided to rent and through his contacts an excellent tenant was quickly found. All along he kept us aware of other properties on the market for comparison. He also kept away frivolous offers and when the time came, the offer to buy presented was fair and we closed fast with confidence that it was a very fair deal for us and the buyer. We were all very happy!
When properties are unique and the market is in transition, renting until the right buyer comes along is sometimes the best option. I appreciate your review -- and I am sure you will agree, in today's world there's less than two degrees of separation!
This is the second time I have worked with Andy and plan to work with him again. His ability to stay levelheaded and still integrate his skills-experience-knowledge gave me a sense if comfort during this process.
It is amazing even now, looking back, I had never seen a homeowners association come back at the 11th hour, and 59th minute, and say oops, we should have caught this before but this-and-that has to be corrected. I am glad I knew the workers to get things done in time for closing. Thank you for trusting me again with your real estate sale.
If I could give ten "stars" to Andy I would, especially when it comes to the depth of his knowledge, his experience and responsiveness. In fact, he anticipates most questions and needs of his clients. He recently helped me in a very difficult purchase (buyer's agent) and without his guidance I am certain that I would have never succeeded in closing the deal. He is the consummate professional. I recommend him without reservation. Thank you, Andy.
Thank you for writing. Sometimes sellers are unresponsive; sometimes sellers agents are unresponsive. We won the lottery, sort of, with neither being responsive. It was great working with you on this very difficult purchase as a buyers agent.
Andy has helped me conduct five different real estate transactions since our first in 1993. He brings a broad base of experience to each transaction and is fun to work with. He has become a trusted friend now of almost 20 years and I would not work with anyone else.
One of the wonderful things about being in real estate a long time is seeing a client become a friend, start a family, and then years later realizing how growing kids and commuting and job changes have changed their housing needs. It's been great starting as a client, and becoming trusted friends. (Bon appetite - private joke. Zillow readers will have to guess)
Had always wanted a lake house.Andy showed me a beautiful lake house which I immediately realized was perfect for me. Of course there are always complications. The owner had certain difficulties that could normally scrub the deal. However, Andy found a way to make it a win/win for everybody!
I lived in my lake house for about eleven years. With great sadness I realized it was time to move to a smaller house.
I will always be thankful that I know I can rely on Andy if I need his advice.
The view of the lake was breathtaking. I am glad I found a way to make it a win/win for everybody, Leaving that lake view behind is never really a "win" I suppose. Thank you for your trust over the years.
Andy will go above and beyond and has looked out for our best interest even after the purchase of the home. He's had great reviews from other customers so we decided to use his services. We were very lucky to have him as our realtor.
Thank you - you did a phenomenal job in the kitchen and bath selections. And after the sale, I am glad I noticed the window the seller left open in the attic.
Andy helped us find and buy our home in Hunter Mill Estates in 1998. We were deligthed with his service, so in 2012 we asked him to help us sell the same home. He did, and in a a very sporadic home-buying environment. He's a good person, an honest advocate, a wise advisor, and super-conscientious. Buying or selling, he's the first and best choice.
I appreciate your kind words, but you made the job easier for me. Your decorating was gorgeous, and you maintained the home impeccably over the years. I think this was our first experience selling homes during a government shutdown and the Sequester. Even in challenging markets, there is always a buyer for a beautiful home.
